Michael Saylor, govt chairman and co-founder of Technique, has come out swinging towards a brand new proposal to wash up Bitcoin’s ‘spam,’ arguing that it might essentially alter how the world’s largest blockchain operates.

The Bitcoin Enchancment Proposal (BIP) 110, geared toward briefly limiting arbitrary information to give attention to the core financial capabilities, is a risk to the primary ideas of the community, Saylor defined in a complete critique revealed on X, titled “110 causes BIP-110 is a nasty concept.”

“The proposed treatment is extra harmful than the situation,” Saylor stated within the latest detailed evaluation. “BIP 110 would use consensus to slender legitimate exercise, constrain future choices, complicate deployment, and set up a precedent it can not later erase.”

Saylor’s major objection is predicated on the “no-questions-asked” nature of cash. “Bitcoin can not learn intent,” Saylor writes. “The community can not know whether or not bytes signify a picture, a proof, a contract, metadata, an authentication file, or a future software,” argued.
